RULES
- Registration fee is R10.00.
- Viewing/Bidding: 22 – 29 November 2025
Monday to Friday 09h00 – 15h45
Saturdays 08h30 – 11h45
Closed Sunday and Public Holidays.
To ensure we have a fair and enjoyable auction, please may we ask that the rules are adhered to.
- Last Bid must be submitted by 11h45 on Saturday 29 November 2025.
- All bidding will be “secret bidding”. Tick forms must be handed in indicating the lot numbers of items which have been bid on.
- Do not bid below the reserve price.
- Once a bid is placed, the bidder must uphold their commitment to make payment and collect their goods by the cut-off date. Sadly, we are experiencing problems with people bidding and not collecting their goods. Please remember that we are a charity and rely on this income to run the hospice.
- Ensure that you have the correct lot number. We are not responsible for incorrect bids.
- We will send out the auction results on Monday 8 December and Tuesday 9 December 2025. If you do not receive an email, please phone us on 031-7014726 on Wednesday 10 December, or email auction@charityshops.co.za.
- All Auction goods will be held until Tuesday 23 December 2025. If the goods are not collected, they will be offered to the next bidder. Bidders who renege on collection commitments may be overlooked for future auctions.
- If you cannot personally collect your goods, please arrange for a courier service as we do not deliver or post goods.
- We accept cash, card or EFT.

- Although we try to be accurate in our description of the lots, we are not experts. It is up to the bidder to check for any defects or errors.
