It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the loss of our special Suellen today. A lady who has counselled, supported, comforted and guided so many patients and family members through a tough journey. It is a unique person who can enlighten people in the toughest of times with the compassion, empathy and tenderness of our Sue.
We will certainly remember fondly the broad smiles enhanced by her favorite lipstick beneath her inquisitive, soft eyes. Her calm and observant manner through ward rounds, meetings and Day Center sessions will be missed. She had a soft spot for the Day Center patients, and was always a champion for our Orphans & Vulnerable Children. Inherent in her to present those who could not help themselves, she brought a little more joy to so many in her time.
Our condolences to her family and friends. You meant the world to her, and like all staff we are assured she will continue to touch our hearts in her absence from a special place in heaven. We will announce arrangements as we are made aware and as always remind you all that, “Every Day Matters!”
